A 14-year-old boy from Guernsey died at Southampton Hospital, police have confirmed.
The child, who is not being named, passed away on Sunday 30 May at the UK hospital.
Family Liaison Officers have been working with the boy's family and Guernsey Police has shared its condolences with them.
The boy's school and other community groups have also paid their respects in the last week.
