A blushing bride to be has accepted a proposal from her boyfriend, who chose to do it at Guernsey Airport - after making her wait nine years for an engagement ring.
Aurigny pilot Nuno Netto took over the tannoy at the terminal building last week, as his fiancee arrived on a flight into Guernsey.
He said he wanted her to be his wing woman for life and then he got down on one knee while brandishing a bouquet of flowers and the ring box. She accepted and they accepted congratulations from colleagues and the people she had been travelling with.
The video of the proposal has gone "viral" since then with more than 13,000 people viewing it.
