A driver has been treated in hospital after his car ended up on the beach at Petils Bay.
The incident happened last night, in the area near the Oyster farm beds near Bordeaux.
Only the damaged vehicle was involved and it's not known how it ended up on the beach at this time.
Guernsey Police, St John Ambulance and the Fire and Rescue Service were all called to the area at around 20:30. The first reports suggested the car driver was stuck inside his vehicle but he managed to get out himself.
He was taken to the Emergency Department at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital to be assessed and treated.

Petils Bay is a mainly rocky area which leads across to Houmet Paradis at low tide.
The car was still on the bay early this morning but was not said to be at risk of being washed away by the next high tide, which was at half ten last night and just after 11:00 today.
