Anyone looking for a new activity in 2023 could consider joining the Guernsey Improbables, who are launching a new course this week.
Described as "wildly fun", the improvisation course will run on Thursday nights for eight weeks, between 19:00 and 21:30, starting from 12 January.
The course is run by Sarah Hansmann who has more 30 years' experience improvising and running courses. She says it is an activity that is not just for actors, "but for life", and that all abilities are welcome.
She says improvisation can help individuals to build their confidence and knowledge through practical fun exercises including life skills such as listening, team work, quick thinking, and story building.
Ms Hansmann has run courses in South Africa, Edinburgh and London as well as in Guernsey, and among her past colleagues is Keith Johnston - famed for creating Theatresports which was based on the tv show 'Whose line is it anyway?'.
