GADOC will follow on from its 2019 production of ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ this month with a Christmas stage production of the BBC comedy classic.
‘A Vicar of Dibley Christmas, The Second Coming’ will run from Tuesday 18 to Saturday 22 October at Beau Sejour with a 19:30 start. The run-time is two hours.
The story follows Vicar Geraldine Granger and the parish council as the village of Dibley prepares for Christmas celebrations, picking up where the previous production left off.
With the pressure of the upcoming village quiz and a week-long commitment to Radio Dibley weighing on her shoulders, Geraldine is stunned when Alice Tinker has a good idea – why not put on a Nativity play? Why not indeed, what can possibly go wrong?
The show is directed by Margaret Moffat and stars Lexi Goater as The Reverend, Natalie Wrigley as Alice Tinker, and Dave Hyett as Hugo Horton.
Tickets are £20, or £16 for under-18’s and OAP’s, which are available online or from Beau Sejour ticket office.
