Guernsey Harbours has opened its new Marine Services Centre at the end of the Albert Pier.
The new facility will deal with all transactions for visiting and local boat owners, including anything from payments and registrations to mooring account support.
Previously this was done by the Harbour office on St Julian's Emplacement.
The Marine Services Centre - MSC - will be open 09:00 until 17:00, Monday to Friday, and a single visitor parking space will be available for any users.
"Our staff and contractors have worked very hard to get the Marina Services Centre open, ahead of the 2019 season," Guernsey's Harbourmaster, Captain David Barker, said.
"I am confident it will be more convenient for local and visiting boat users to manage their mooring affairs via the centre. This move is part of a wider programme to improve services for Guernsey Harbours’ customers across the board.”
Arrangements and the location for the Registry of British Ships (Guernsey) will not change. The Registry will continue to operate from the Harbour Office on St Julian’s Emplacement asnormal.
The telephone number for the centre will be +44 (0)1481 702229 and its email address is marine.services@gov.gg.
