A musical lunch to end a 'Miserable' weekend

Sunday 04 November 2018

After the success of the latest run of Les Miserable in Guernsey, a musical lunch will help to bring the curtain down on the performances today.

A number of West End and Broadway stars have been in the island for the four night series of shows of Victor Hugo's legendary work, which he finished writing while being exiled in Guernsey.

Today, some of those musical stars will be performing at a 'Sunday Lunch like you have never heard it before!'

Jodie Beth Meyer, Natasha Jules Bernard, Paul Dale-Vickers, Emma Hatton and others will be performing at the Victor Hugo Charity Sunday Lunch which has been organised by the Victor Hugo in Guernsey society.

The event, at St Pierre Park Hotel will include cameo performances from the stars who have been performing in the world famous musical in Guernsey.

Students from Guernsey's Performing Arts Centre will also be singing songs from classical musicals, helping to raise money for the Victor Hugo in Guernsey Society and the Victor Hugo ‘Man on a Bench’ town sculpture project supported by the Guernsey Arts Commission.
