Motorists and pedestrians left “shaken up” after tree falls on car

Thursday 28 March 2024

Several members of the public have been left “shaken up” after a tree fell through the windscreen of a moving car on Candie Road.

The incident happened earlier this morning [28 March] and the road remains closed as the road is cleared of debris.

A witness told Express that a child had been left slightly injured by flying glass “and the people involved were left very shaken up”. No other serious injuries have been reported by Law Enforcement.

Guernsey Police said the road will open once the tree has been removed.
