Lisa Bailey, an associate in Carey Olsen's Guernsey corporate team, is to appear in tonight's opening heat of MasterChef 2019 on BBC One.
She is one of 56 amateur chefs to have made it through to the televised stages from thousands of initial applications, and will be one of seven contestants taking part in tonight's heat trying to impress hosts and judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
The top three chefs will make it through to the quarter finals.
While she remains tight-lipped as to how she got on, Ms Bailey said: "It was an incredible opportunity to participate in one of my favourite shows on TV. I am a huge MasterChef fan and I am delighted I was lucky enough to take part in MC2019."
The series starts at 21:00. Also this week you can catch episodes on Wednesday 13 at 20:00 and Friday 15 at 21:00.
