Man arrested after three Albanians arrive in Guernsey illegally by boat

A 25-year-old man has been arrested after three Albanian nationals illegally travelled to Guernsey from France in a private boat.

A Greek national has been charged with being knowingly concerned in facilitating the entry of illegal entrants into the Bailiwick of Guernsey and has been remanded in custody pending a committal hearing.

Drimiand Vuka was arrested on the weekend of the 29 and 30 July by Guernsey Border Agency Officers.  

Mr Vuka will next appear in court for a remand hearing on 11 September and a committal hearing has also been pencilled in for 13 September.
