Ross Le Brun will be putting his skills to the test in real time on Sunday morning, with a live caricaturing session during this weekend's Seafront Sunday.
Arts Sunday will include a multitude of artists, and different genres and formats, including hand drawn pictures.
Among those will be Mr Le Brun - who shares his artwork on Facebook as 'Dad makes stuff'.
As well as caricatures, Mr Le Brun has produced other forms of artwork including models, murals, and chalk art.
This Sunday he'll be doing live caricatures for the first time, between 10:00 and 17:00.
Mr Le Brun has admitted in advance that he is nervous as this is the first time he has created this type of art work in front of an audience.
"Being fast and good at the same time, while people watch and judge your work puts you under pressure," he wrote on his Dad makes stuff Facebook page.
He's committed to that pressure though and will be working alongside fellow artist Yasmin Atkinson during this weekend's Arts Sunday.
"So, if you want to see how gawky I can make your face look, grab a nice cold cider and come and see me!"
Mr Le Brun's artwork has won praise from across the globe - with fellow chalk artist Steve Sprunger asking for caricatures of himself and his wife via Facebook.
Others who have already been depicted in Mr Le Brun's caricatures include local journalist John Fernandez and deputies Gavin St Pier and Mark Helyar.
He has also been commissioned to work at corporate and private events producing caricatures of attendees.
