The traditional military parade and wreath laying ceremony will be held in Guernsey this morning to mark Remembrance Sunday.
The parade will arrive at the war memorial at the top of Smith Street ahead of the two minutes silence, which will be observed at 11:00.
The silence will be marked by a firing of the canon at Castle Cornet at the start and end.
Following that, wreaths will be laid by the Lieutenant Governor, the Bailiff, Chief Minister, St Peter Port officials, religious leaders, and other dignitaries as well as island groups with military links.
Members of the public are invited to gather around the war memorial ahead of this service.
The Combined Cadet Force Corps of Drums will lead the parade from the Town Arsenal to the War Memorial.
The CCF is made up of students from Elizabeth College who will be representing their school to commemorate the former students who died 'Pro Patria'.
155 Old Elizabethans are known to have died in the two World Wars. Pupils of the former Les Vauxbelets College and other students are also known to have died during their service in the First World War and other conflicts.
Other parish events will be held at war memorials across Guernsey. The island's scouts, guides and other groups will be heavily involved along with other organisations.

Events in Sark and Alderney will centre around the island's churches.
Sark's war memorial will be adorned with wreaths and flowers to commemorate the lives lost during the First World War and subsequent conflicts.
One Sark family lost five sons during the Great War.
In Alderney, Remembrance events will begin with a church service, followed by a wreath laying at the island's cenotaph. There'll be a Vin d’Honneur at the Anne French Room, Island Hall, following the formal events.
