Guernsey Police are continuing to investigate the death of a man who was rescued from the sea at St George's Esplanade on Sunday night.
Emergency Services were called to the scene where the 37-year-old was reported to be at about 22:00.
The lifeboat was used to rescue the man from the water, and he was then taken to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
He died whilst at the Hospital.
Guernsey Police, who are yet to name the man, have been investigating the circumstances of the death but at the time officers said it is not believed to be suspicious.
The 37 year old is believed to have lived locally for some years and has children in the island.
