A man charged with making indecent images of children, has had his case committed to Guernsey's Royal Court.
The man, 43 - who has not yet been named in the media - was previously charged with five counts of making indecent images of children, right across the spectrum of severity.
He had appeared before the Magistrate's Court last month where he was released on bail, until yesterday's hearing.
The committal hearing yesterday was held behind closed doors as is normal practice, ahead of an initial hearing before the Royal Court which is scheduled for next week.
More details are expected to be released into the public domain after that hearing.
The Sentencing Advisory Panel Categories for dealing with indecent images of children are numbered one to five according to their content, one being the least serious and five being the most serious. All of the alleged offences in this case took place in Guernsey.
