St Sampson's High School has been rated 'Good' in every category, just two years after Ofsted said the quality of education at the same school was "not good enough".
Guernsey's Education bosses said this proves the "huge strides" the school has made since it was rated as 'inadequate' in July 2022.
ESC said the latest report represents a "very positive external inspection" which saw it rated 'Good' across each of the four categories available.

The Principal has thanked her staff, students, their parents, and everyone else involved in helping improve the school's standards.
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our staff for their dedication and hard work," said Vicky Godley.
"To our wonderful students, thank you for your commitment and positive attitude. Finally, a huge thank you to all our parents, carers, and the wider local community for your unwavering support throughout this journey. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together, and we are excited to continue building upon this success in the future."
Her words were echoed by the island's Director of Education and the President of the Committee for Education, Sport, and Culture.
"When Ofsted inspected St Sampson’s High two years ago, the outcome was disappointing for everyone connected with the school," said Nick Hynes.
"During the last two years Vicky and her team have worked tirelessly to improve the school, acting swiftly on the areas that were identified and the judgements of this re-inspection are testament of that hard work. We said two years ago that we recognised there needed to be a change in culture at the school and that this doesn’t happen overnight. Vicky, her staff, students and parents should be incredibly proud of the steps they have taken together in the last two years."
Deputy Andrea Dudley-Owen also thanked everyone involved in helping improve standards at the High School.
"On behalf of the Committee I would like to publicly thank and congratulate Vicky and the whole St Sampson’s High community follow this inspection outcome," she said.
"To come from where the school was two years ago, to receive 'good' ratings across the board is a significant achievement and one everyone should be rightly proud of. External inspections play such an important role not only in helping provide reassurance about good practice in our settings, but also identifying where issues exist so that we can collectively address them for the benefit of our young people. St Sampson’s High is a prime example of that journey."

St Sampson's High School has been praised for the quality of education it now provides, the behaviour and attitudes of students, their personal development and welfare, and the school's leadership and management.
On this occasion, the Ofsted Inspectors found that the school’s curriculum has undergone many recent changes, and is "ambitious for all pupils and is carefully planned".
They also found that the school has "successfully created a calm and purposeful environment for pupils, with high expectations of their behaviour" while pupils "know what is expected of them because the school has established clear routines".
The Inspectors found that there are "an extensive range of activities" offered "that enrich pupils’ lives", while "pupils’ successes are celebrated", and "work to improve pupils’ literacy is starting to bear fruit".
Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are now accurately identified at the High School while "staff have a secure knowledge of how to apply suitable strategies to support pupils".
The leaders at St Sampson's High School are described as "highly effective in ensuring that their expectations and ways of working are widely understood", with senior leaders described as "meticulous and thorough" and the school staff as a whole said to be "united in their vision to continue driving improvements at the school".
Good is the second highest rating Ofsted can award.
This means some improvements remain necessary, with the Inspectors advising St Sampson's High to focus on strengthening its subject leadership.
Ofsted warned that the Inspectors found that "teachers’ use of assessment is not fully developed. As a result, pupils’ misconceptions sometimes persist or there are gaps in pupils understanding."
