Nine people are currently in hospital, suffering from covid-19, but none are in intensive care or on ventilators according to the latest information released by Public Health.
The number of patients needing hospital treatment in Guernsey is now at its highest since the first patient was confirmed to have corona virus in Guernsey last month.
There have been a maximum of three patients needing hospital treatment before today, with nine now confirmed as being admitted to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.

With 209 people now confirmed as having covid-19 in the Bailiwick, and another 90 awaiting test results, the number of confirmed patients has gone up considerably since on-island testing started earlier this month.
Six people have died as a result of covid-19 in the Bailiwick, with a further three people having shown symptoms of corona virus at the time of their death, but they had not been tested.
The majority of the deaths so far have been confirmed as being linked to outbreaks within the island's care homes. Speaking earlier in the week, Dr Nicola Brink said the deaths at that time were all in people in their 80s and 90s.
The Director of Public Health said then that the front line of health care at the moment was in the community nursing and care home sectors, as opposed to within the hospital.
