An organisation has been launched in memory of a Guernsey schoolgirl who took her own life.
Elizabeth Borman was born in Jersey but attended primary and secondary school in Guernsey after moving here with her family.
She moved back to Jersey before her tragic death at the age of just 15 in May 2022.
Her mother, Natasha Borman lives in Jersey and has set up 'Hope for Veta' with the aim of providing support to children against rape, providing mental health support to families with children aged 8 - 18, and promoting sports to children and teenagers up to 18-years-old.
As well as working with other organisations in Jersey, Ms Borman says she intends for Hope for Veta to fundraise for the Youth Commission or Guernsey Mind, which both offered practical and emotional support to Elizabeth and her family during her time living in Guernsey.
It's expected that in the future a silver birch tree will be planted at Delancey Park in memory of Elizabeth. Her mother said she spent many hours playing there as a child as it was near her family home and her primary school.

A tree has also been planted in the grounds of the former Grammar School, where Elizabeth studied after securing a place through the 11+ in 2018.
Friends from both her primary and secondary schools attended a recent memorial service for her, during which the tree was planted.
Ms Borman said those attending had printed pictures of Elizabeth and wrote letters to her.
"The amount of letters was huge and the bigger box had been chosen to fit all of them in it," she said.

Ms Borman intends to travel to Guernsey to see the tree at Les Varendes, and to see the tree planted at Delancey Park and to meet her daughter's friends again.
A similar tree planting event was held at Grainville School in Jersey, where Elizabeth was studying for her GCSEs prior to her death.
Along with a tree planting, a bench was painted with messages to Elizabeth.
