The GSPCA is promoting an alternative adoption method which sees pets find a new forever home without ever stepping a paw into the charity's care.
During the coronavirus lockdowns, the GSPCA had to find a new way to re-home pets.
With strict rules around socialising in place, traditional methods of meeting new potential pet owners had to stop.
Social Media came to the rescue instead.

'Home to home rehoming' is a service the charity offers so that animals do not need to come into the Shelter for immediate care - which can become longterm care.
For many animals, and their owners, this reduces stress, anxiety, and is much better for their mental and physical wellbeing.
The charity says this method also allows it to focus resources on emergency cases.
“Home to home is a way we can help animals find new and loving homes with out the need for them to come into our care meaning they go from an owner who for many reasons may not be able to give their pet all its needs to a new forever home," explained Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager.
“The benefits of home to home mean the animals need not come into our care reducing the time they go from one owner to another and also reduces greatly the challenges we may have for space, time and costs.”
It's not just furry friends, and four pawed companions who are up for adoption using this newer, less disruptive method either said Mr Byrne.
"We of course still help many animals in need through the Animal Shelter but his new way of rehoming has helped not just dogs and cats but stick insects to giant African land snails.
"In the last week you will have even seen cockerels and sheep looking for help with our home to home rehoming.
“One of our main aims in what we do is to help animals live their best lives and find homes when they are in need.”
