17-year-old Guernsey footballer Alex Scott's brilliant year has just got even better, after he was called up to the England Under-18 squad.
The former GFC midfielder has been included in a 24-strong squad to face Wales on Monday 29 March.
Making his first appearance for The Three Lions in Cardiff would cap off a remarkable few months for the attacking midfielder, who put pen to paper on a long-term professional contract with Championship side Bristol City earlier this month.
Scott is also the Green Lions’ youngest ever player, having made his senior debut in August last year.
