An amateur historian with a keen interest in Guernsey's Occupation story has been invited on to another online show to share details around commando raids on the islands during the Second World War.
Nick Le Huray authors the 'Islands Fortress' blog which he describes as being "about the Occupation of the Channel Islands 1940 – 1945. Life under the occupying forces, the fortifications and military operations."

Through his blog, Mr Le Huray has invested hours of research into personal testimonies of life during the Occupation and military operations within, and around the Channel Islands during the war years.
Off the back of this growing body of work, and his involvement in online discussion groups about the impact of the Second World War, and the lasting effect of Hitler's 'Atlantic Wall' and the island's fortifications, Mr Le Huray has been invited to talk on WW2TV - an online network.
Thanks to Woody for asking me to talk about Commando Raids on the Channel Islands next week on @WW2TV. Do come and join us. It would be great to see some of the @WeHaveWaysPod #IC there on the sidebar.
