Stomping at The Savoy Vol. 2

Now heading over to the beloved St James, we have local music legends 'Sarge' Frampton and Pete De Bertrand in conversation - next Wednesday 19th of June!

Their careers have spanned more than 50 years, and in the 70’s, as two thirds of local band Ponders End, they pushed the boundaries of pop and rock music with their selections from 'Jesus Christ Superstar' performance at the St Peter Port Town Church, and their self penned rock opera 'Compass' at The Little Theatre.

The night will feature photos, videos and sound bites from the boy's varied career, as well as a few surprises along the way.

Doors open at 6pm, in preparation for the talk at 7pm, so there’s plenty of time to grab a refreshment at the bar before the event begins.

Amazing Creatures: Treasures from our Natural History Collection

Consider this your reminder to head down to the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery at Candie, to take in the wonders of our natural world in the Museum's current exhibition!

Staged in the Brian White Gallery, the exhibition showcases a selection of the most incredible specimens from the Guernsey Museum collection. Featuring creatures from the sea, land and air.

The exhibition features both taxidermy specimens and skeletal material as well as plaster and glass models. It invites important questions about the conservation of animal species and how museum collections like this can help inform the future of biodiversity.

The museum foyer also features a display of remarkable original insect specimens from the museum's entomology collection.
