Condor Community Fund has given a donation to Guernsey Arts so it can buy some new equipment.
The new kit will be based at Candie Gardens and the Greenhouse Gallery and will be available to islanders and visitors to use.
The equipment includes outdoor easels, which will used for outdoor ‘plein air’ workshops and similar projects in Guernsey.
Guernsey Arts said they're gratitude for the donation.
It will help in its aims to promote, support, and inspire creative endeavours across the Bailiwick. The new materials will further these ambitions by improving access to the arts, particularly for community groups, visitors, and school groups, said Louise Le Pelley from Guernsey Arts.

She said the materials will not only boost creativity among locals, but will also inspire visitors to get involved in the local arts community and enjoy Guernsey’s natural landscapes.
"We are lucky to have a fabulous view of the harbour from our location in Candie Gardens, so can now take our community visitors onto the terrace to paint who will hopefully be inspired by such a backdrop," added Ms Le Pelley.
The new equipment has already been used by a collective of artists from France, Jersey and Guernsey who are completing a residency at the Greenhouse Gallery.
Ms Le Pelley hopes that the materials will continue to facilitate more free activities to enhance Guernsey’s art scene for encourage participation at all levels.

The donation came from The Condor Community Fund, which has been active since 2019 in Guernsey and Jersey. It is a grant-based initiative offering up to £2000 for individuals or groups who are dedicated to developing worthwhile community activities.
Condor’s Justin Amey, Head of Sales and Marketing, praised the standard of community work across the islands, and said the ferry firm is pleased to support Guernsey Arts with the new equipment.
He also hopes that the donation will encourage islanders of all ages to explore their creativity among the community.
