'Oh! What's occurin'?'

A young Gavin & Stacey fan, who has spent some of her spare time in lockdown creating a Monopoly board game based on the popular TV show, has been recognised by thousands of people on Twitter, including James Corden himself.

Saskia Finn-Davey, 15, spent about two-and-a-half days creating the game, which she then uploaded to her social media account, tagging some of the BBC sitcom's actors.

The tweet was then picked up by Corden - who co-wrote and starred in the show as Smithy - and shared with his 10.8million followers.

While Saskia has been catching up on Gavin & Stacey during lockdown and getting involved in some virtual pub quizzes based on the show, the idea came to her while scrolling through social media.

"The idea came from something on Instagram, where someone was talking about how cool it would be to have a Gavin & Stacey Monopoly," she explained. "So, I decided to make one myself.

"The locations include Barry Island, Capricios, Marco's Cafe, Bryn's house etc.

"For their transport, there is Dave's Coaches, Bryn's Picasso, Gavin's Citroen Saxo and Mick's Saab. For the utilities, I used the service stations mentioned in the 2019 Christmas special.

"The characters used are the main characters, which are Gavin, Stacey, Nessa, Smithy, Mick, Pam, Gwen and Bryn."

The tweet was also shared by Robert Wilfort, who plays the part of Jason.

"I instantly started to get loads of likes and retweets," Saskia continued. "Now, it has over 4,700 likes and over 600 retweets!

"I was so shocked as I never thought any of the cast would retweet it and the support from other fans has been amazing!"
