Four Bailiwick residents have been honoured by King Charles III in his first Birthday Honours List.
The Lieutenant-Governor has announced that the Bailiff, Richard McMahon, is awarded a Knighthood for services to the Crown and the community, David Warr is awarded the OBE for services to the Community, Alan Gough is awarded the MBE for services to Music and Kevin Adams is awarded the BEM for services to Sark.
“I am delighted that His Majesty has conferred these awards today," said His Excellency, Lieutenant General Richard Cripwell CB CBE.
"Each of these recipients have worked extraordinarily hard for their communities over many years and this public recognition is entirely fitting and richly deserved. I congratulate them all.”

Guernsey's 90th Bailiff and the first not to have been born in the island. He has lived in Guernsey since 1995. He served as HM Comptroller, Queen's Counsel, and Deputy Bailiff before being sworn in as Bailiff in 2020.
He is Patron of more than 40 charities and has written many academic works.
A founding director of the Guernsey Sports Commission, the Guernsey Community Foundation and the Ray Lowe Foundation.
He is Chair of Vive La Valette LBG and has campaigned for support for Mental Health Issues.
He moved to Guernsey in 1981 to be Head of Woodwind for the School's Music Service. He formed the Guernsey Chamber Choir and Orchestra, founded the Youth Jazz Orchestra and Guernsey Symphonic Winds.

Born and raised in Sark, he has been Prevot for 12 years and was previously Deputy for seven years. He has been part of the Sark Fire Service since 1989 and is the honorary Church Organist and Choirmaster. He was CI inter-insular Archery champion in 2017.
The Lieutenant Governor's Office is responsible for liasing between the palace and Honour recipients.
Any individual or group may nominate someone for a national Honour by contacting the Bailiff's Chambers and requesting an Honours Nomination Form.
