Five people were taken to hospital by the Emergency Ambulance Service on Sunday evening, following a house fire.
Shortly after 20:00, JESCC dispatched a doubled crewed ambulance to the Rue de La Croix Estate, following a request from police and fire crews who were already in attendance at the address.
Ambulance crews assessed a total of six casualties evacuated by the other emergency services. Following initial assessment by clinicians at the scene, five people were transferred by ambulance to the Emergency Department of the Princess Elizabeth Hospital for further care.
The house fire was one of fifty-nine calls for the St John Emergency Ambulance Service over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
