Some of the poorest countries in the world will benefit from local people's efforts through the World Aid Walk.
Organisers are encouraging people to register for this year's charity fundraiser, proceeds from which will go to The Eleanor Foundation, Christian Aid, Action Aid, The Tumaini Fund and This is EPIC.
The walk starts at 09:00 on Monday 6 May, when people will gather at the Market Square start line.
The 19km walk, which is sponsored by Specsavers and Sarnia Hotels Guernsey, supports charities that work with some of the poorest families and communities to help them to rise from poverty
Herm places are limited to only 150, with that island's walk starting at 09.30 at Herm Harbour.
Sark's 10km walk starts at 10:00 at the Island Hall.
Entry fees for anyone under 19 are £3 (£5 on the day) and registration fees for adults are £10 (£15 on the day).
