A Christmas charity campaign has been launched, with a Guernsey elf at the heart of it.
Eugene Le Elf will be visiting different shops throughout December, asking shoppers to make a donation, however small, to a local charity.
Help a Guernsey Child is the beneficiary with Eugene planning pranks and treats to keep shoppers entertained between this weekend and the 20 December.
The idea is, if we spot him, we put a donation in the collection box.
Twenty shops have agreed to take part while Eugene’s whereabouts will also be tracked online here and on instagram at 'elfeugene', where photos of the elf’s antics will be uploaded, daily.
You can vote for your favourite elf display and there are also some elf jokes and other extras for children.
