Organisers have announced that registration is now open for the highly anticipated Saffery Rotary Walk 2025 - traditionally one of the biggest charitable events held in Guernsey each year.
Those wanting to take on the challenge are encouraged to sign up now, to take part on Saturday 7 June, taking advantage of the discounted ‘early bird’ entry fee which is available for a limited time only.
Saffery Trust Director, Lisa Vizia said this is an opportunity to support of a variety of hard-pressed local charities and non-profit organisations, and those who act quickly could benefit from the discounted price of £37.
“This is the perfect time to sign up for the 2025 Saffery Rotary Walk, not only to benefit from an Early Bird discounted rate, but to give yourself plenty of time to begin your training for next year’s Walk.”
Ms Vizia continued: “Over the duration of the Walk, hundreds of local charities have been supported thanks to the dedication of our walkers and the generosity of their sponsors. We hope to see our island continue their fantastic efforts in raising money for many worthwhile causes across the Bailiwick.”
Walk Chairman, Simon Milsted, said the support of sponsors such as Saffery means all the money raised by those walking goes to good causes.
He also acknowledged the challenge those taking on the full walk face.
