An "experienced dog looker afterer" has applied for a job at a new 'doggy day care' centre in Guernsey saying they "love dogs and dogs love me".
11-year-old Samuel - also known as Monsieur Samuel - has written to Creature Comforts to ask for a chance to work at the business' new 'Waggle Centre'.
He wrote that he gets on very well with dogs, "especially big ones" and that he has a "love for all creatures great and small".
Samuel's skills are said to include "distracting, playing, looking after them, making tasty treats, playing tug and throwing balls".
He also wrote that he wants to save up some money so that he can start his own doggy day care one day.
Michele Botes from Creature Comforts described it as "quite possibly the best job application we've ever received!"

Ms Botes told Express that: "His letter made my day, the world definitely needs more Sams!"
She has replied to his letter and has asked him to come in for an interview and she was waiting for a reply when she gave Express permission to share the letters at lunchtime today.
"Sam used to have a dog so I know him through the shop but I haven’t seen him for quite a time," she said.

Creature Comforts is a pet shop in the Bouet, while its new Waggy Day Centre will be at the Lowlands Industrial Estate.
It will have a pet shop, a dog day care centre and a grooming parlour.
