An incident involving two dogs outside the White Rock cafe is under investigation, with Guernsey Police describing it as an "attack".
Officers say it happened on Sunday July 28 at around 10:20 when it's thought a number of witnesses may have been present.
The two dogs involved were a Jack Russell and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Any witnesses should contact PC 204 Shields at Guernsey Police on 725111 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

They have included a variety of breeds including a German Shepherd, which was put to sleep after an incident involving a child; two poodle type animals and a blue Staffordshire bull terrier, which allegedly killed a cat.
