Two people have been charged with breaching self-isolation regulations at the Farmhouse Hotel in May this year.
The two defendants have appeared in Remand Court this morning. Aivis Licitis, 34, is being charged with breaching the regulations on 27 May 2021.
Gundega Dremaine, 43, is being charged with aiding and abetting him to do so.
The case has been adjourned until 13 September so the pair can seek representation.
The potential breach came to light after leaked emails appeared to show Farmhouse MD David Nussbaumer deciding not to report what had happened at the hotel after seeking "sufficient leeway" from his close friend and lawyer - CCA Chairman Peter Ferbrache - not to do so.
Deputy Ferbrache has said he cannot recall that conversation with Mr Nussbaumer. He has denied that he would ever advise someone not to comply with the regulations, which he is responsible for as the Chairman of the Civil Contingencies Authority.
