If you are travelling on Condor over the coming weekend, you might want to consider bringing your travel plans forward, the ferry company has warned.
This is because forecasts are showing "challenging weather patterns" in the immediate lead up to Christmas, which could disrupt people looking to travel between the islands and to the UK.
Condor is offering customers the opportunity to re-book on alternative sailings on Friday 20 December at no charge and avoid any possible delays and disruption which may occur.
"The weather is very unpredictable at the moment and may continue to change from the current forecasts, but we want to be proactive and also prudent by contacting passengers early to notify them we will change their bookings if they are able to travel earlier than scheduled," Elwyn Dop, Condor's Executive Director, said.
Condor’s customer contact centre and port teams have already been told to notify and re-book travellers on alternative sailings where space is available.
