There will be one last celebration to mark the 60th anniversary of The Beatles performing in Guernsey.
As part of a series of events organised by Guernsey Arts and supported by Skipton International, a free event will take pace in Candie Gardens on Tuesday 8 August between 5pm and 7pm.
A Beatles tribute act will recreate the 25 minute set played by John, Paul, George and Ringo 60 years ago to the day song-for-song before adding more of their hits from albums like Please Please Me and With the Beatles.
The event gets under way with music of the 60s from 5pm, with the band starting between 5.30pm and 6pm.
Picnic pre-orders starting from £12.95 (including finger sandwiches, scone and two tray bake desserts) are available by emailing SUECO on team@sueco.gg.
As part of the Twist and Shout celebrations, there is also an art exhibition available to visit at Guernsey Museums, which features the work of Fiona Adams and Peter Le Vasseur, alongside 26 other local artists from across different generations.
This will run until 2 September. Entrance is free with a Discovery pass.
