Further preparation of the harbour's on-arrival testing facilities will start tonight, ahead of the "transition to Phase 5c".
Parking on the East Arm of North Beach will be suspended from 18:00 until 11.59pm on Thursday 15 October so that staff at the testing facility will be able to carry out training.
"This is allow further work in preparing the testing facilities which have been built there, ahead of the transition to Phase 5c of the ‘Exit from Lockdown’," said a spokesman for the States.
"The Civil Contingencies Authority has not yet announced a date for moving into Phase 5c, but work has continued to ensure all areas are operationally ready to make the move at the point the CCA decides is appropriate."

The CCA is holding a press conference at 13:00 on Thursday, where more information is set to be announced.
The panel is intending to comment on the developing situation in neighbouring jurisdictions as well as the next steps in the Bailiwick’s covid response.
Everywhere in the British Isles, with the exception of the Isle of Man air bridge, is now in Group A. Jersey was moved into the most at-risk group yesterday, meaning that anyone travelling from there or returning from our sister Channel Island will have to self-isolate for 14 days.
