The car which fell down the cliff at Jerbourg will be left where it is for now, as there is no safe way to retrieve it.
A man was taken to hospital after the car he was in left the car park and fell down the south coast cliff yesterday morning.
He was the only person in the vehicle.
The man was assessed as having non-life threatening injuries when he was rescued from the cliff face, where he was found lying several metres away from the car.
The vehicle - believed to be a Smart Car - remains lying deep in undergrowth beneath the car park. It could not easily be seen from any direction yesterday.

The first calls for help were made just after 09:30 yesterday morning.
All of the emergency services were dispatched to the scene along with volunteers from the civil protection service and the cliff rescue team.
By 11:30 the man had been rescued.
He was assessed by paramedics at the scene, before being taken to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.

A crane was taken to the scene after the man had been taken to hospital to see if the car could be removed, but a spokesperson for the emergency services said "there was no easy way to remove it identified".
This does not mean that it will be left there permanently, but for now it can't be moved.
