Can you identify this man? Police seek suspect after St Johns Church vandalism

Tuesday 04 September 2018

Guernsey Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe could be able to "assist them" with an investigation into a criminal damage incident at St Johns Church.

They are asking for anyone who may be able to identify the pictured person to come forward to assist them, because it is believed that they may be able to assist with the investigation.

On Monday 6 August, graffiti and obscene notes - containing religious hate messages - were found inside St Johns Church by churchgoers, along with several cases of damage to the property. While an 18-year-old has been arrested since the incident occurred, he has been released on bail and enquiries are continuing.

The incident is believed to have taken place around 07:00.

Anyone with any information, or who can identify the person pictured, is asked to contact PC 103 Bulpitt from the Investigation Support Unit, and he can be reached through Guernsey Police on 725111. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
