Team Guernsey's Cameron Chalmers is into the semi-final of the 400m at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
The runner had "a comfortable race" in his final heat in front of a packed Carrara Stadium to qualify for the semi-final which takes place on Monday 9 April.
He had run his televised heat in lane two, with Chalmers making a good start against a strong field which included the Jamaican runner Javon Francis. The semi final is 19:56 Australian time and 10:56 BST.
