Guernsey Fire and Rescue Service was called out to attend to three separate fires on Bank Holiday Monday, 28 May.
The emergency service was first called out to La Bailloterie Campsite in the Vale at around 14:30 where a tree was on fire.
It's believed that initially a small patch of cardboard was on fire, which spread to the tree.
Next, the GFRS was called to La Route Des Cornus in St Martin at around 15:30. There they put out a fire caused by a barbecue gas bottle which had caught alight at a private residence.
The third call out occurred less than an hour later when the Fire and Rescue Service was sent to deal with what was described as a "small outside fire" which was approximately 2m by 2m square. The fire crew had to remain on the scene for a while to damp down the area to ensure it was safe, at La Corbiere, Forest.
During what was a busy weekend for the Fire and Rescue Service, the on duty crew was also called out to attend a road accident on Saturday afternoon alongside Guernsey Police and St John Ambulance and Rescue Service.
A motorbike and car collided at a junction near the Hougue du Pommier (pictured above) leaving one man injured. He was taken to the Emergency Department at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital for treatment to what was described as "non serious injuries."
