A "prolific" offender who was "tooled up" at a housing estate with a flick knife, kitchen knife and a rock has been sent back to Les Nicolles.
Callum James, 28, has been jailed for 12 months for breaching a restraining order, possessing an offensive weapon and resisting arrest.
The offences all took place on 2 May, when James visited a housing estate, knowingly breaching a restraining order in the process.
James messaged the person by text at around 21:30, saying he was outside their property. At around 21:50, a witness saw James on the estate.
Around an hour later, police located James in a parked vehicle on the estate while searching for some sports equipment that had been stolen from a nearby school.
An officer asked James to get out of the car but he resisted, which led to a search of his belongings. Police found a flick knife, which James said he kept in his possession "for his protection", and a rock.
James' rucksack was then searched and a kitchen knife was found inside.

Judge Graeme McKerrell noted the defendant's previous convictions, which include a harassment conviction from 2019 and a charge for assaulting a police officer back in 2010.
"You have a bad record and when chances have been given to you in the past, although you have completed some orders, they have not stopped you from re-offending and quite prolifically."
Judge McKerrell said there were no excuses for the offensive weapon and bladed article that James had on him.
"You were tooled up and had more than one knife in your possession. The simple reality is that knives on the streets of Guernsey are not welcome. You did all this having consumed drugs not prescribed to you and, last but not least, you resisted arrest just, as you said, "to be difficult"."
James got six months for the knife charges, five months for breaching a restraining order and one month for resisting arrest.
The charges were taken consecutively, totalling 12 months imprisonment.
