The Civil Contingencies Authority continues to work closely with our neighbouring islands, who have all adhered to the new lockdown restrictions.
With Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm all on lockdown, movement between the islands has been seriously affected.
The Government of Sark's Pandemic Emergency Committee has issued a statement about travel to and from the island, which is now only permitted if authorisation is given beforehand.
Picture: Only pre-authorised travel is now allowed between Guernsey and Sark.
Meanwhile, in Alderney, unrestricted travel from Guernsey is no more. In a Facebook statement from the States of Alderney. people coming to the island are being asked to self-isolate for two weeks.
Further details on the future effects of lockdown will be released this week after the Alderney Operational Group meet. However, for the time being, self-isolation on return from Guernsey is being seen as a "public duty".
Pictured: Herm is now closed for the period of lockdown.
Herm is now closed to visitors as well. The booking office has shut, the last trident sailing has come and gone and all private boaters are banned from landing.
Anyone who has a stay planned now or in the future is being asked to stay patient and expect a refund, credit or transferred booking.
