Boat Show returns this weekend

Friday 27 April 2018

Guernsey's now-annual boat show is returning to St Peter Port this weekend with a fresh range of exhibitors and ongoings for people to enjoy.

Starting on Friday 27 at 10am and running through to Sunday evening, the Boat Show will once again take place on the Crown Pier and in the Victoria Marina.

Visitors will have the opportunity to look around some top of the range models of yachts and other vessels, with the potential of making a purchase, explore famous island vessels such as the lifeboat - the Spirit of Guernsey - and also experience all of the other parts of life on the sea in Guernsey.

Exhibitors include 11 separate groups on the water and another 17 in the shoreside village.

The show returned to the island harbours for the first time in a number of years last year, with a number of different exhibitors ready to relaunch the event. This year promises even more than the last.

"The Guernsey Boat Show is an interactive forum featuring water and land based displays, including a range of stylish motor and sailing vessels and personal water craft for all budgets and a variety of products and services specifically aimed at the marine leisure market," a spokesperson for the show said.

"The show has been designed to showcase the wealth of Guernsey marine and leisure boating industry."
