There’s just a few days left for eligible islanders to receive a free vaccination against covid, in partnership with Primary Care providers.
Having started back in October this year, the programme will be closing on Saturday (21 December), alongside the children's nasal flu vaccination programme which is also coming to a stop.
A spokesperson for HSC said that anyone who believes they are eligible but hasn't received an invitation, or would like to take up the offer, should get in touch with their GP practice.
Those 'eligible' include all adults aged 65 years and over, residents in a care home for older adults, and individuals aged 6 months to 64 years who are 'clinically at risk'.
Meanwhile, the flu vaccination programme is to remain open for eligible adults, which includes individuals aged 65 and over, adults aged 18 to under 65 years in a clinical risk group, pregnant women, carers for elderly or disabled individuals, residents in long-stay care homes, and frontline health and social care workers.
If you’d like to know more about either vaccination programme, you can visit the States website.
