A number of passengers had to stay overnight in the UK after a problem on an Aurigny flight yesterday afternoon.
The States of Guernsey owned airline also offered passengers the chance of a refund if they wanted to cancel their flight to the island.
Flight GR627 had returned to Stansted during the afternoon "as a precaution following a minor technical issue" which was reported as being a mechanical fault.
The aircraft landed normally and safely without incident at the east of England airport after circling over Hertfordshire for nearly an hour.
An Aurigny spokesman said "passengers are being provided with overnight accommodation and will be rebooked onto a flight tomorrow (Wednesday). Alternatively, they are able to cancel and claim a refund."
He added: "Crew followed procedures and returned to Stansted where they landed normally and safely."
