An assault on the High Street left one man with facial injuries at the start of the new year.
He was involved in an incident, sometime between 23:45 on Saturday 29 December and 00:15 Sunday 30 December, in St Peter Port.
Guernsey Police are treating the incident as an assault and are appealing for any witnesses to the incident on the High Street to get in touch.
A spokesman for the force said the victim needed medical attention to his facial injuries but no more details can be given at this time.
