Once the sporting activity dies down, there are plenty of other events to take your pick from across the creative sectors.

Backed by Guernsey Arts, a number of theatrical, musical and artistic events are being staged over the coming weeks:

Midsummer Night’s Dream at Saumarez Park, Victorian Walled Gardens

Darren Alderton will be directing this community project and is looking to give it a Tim Burtonesque twist.

Join the team in the atmospheric environs of the Victorian Walled Gardens at Saumarez Park, as they delve into the text from the perspective of the fairies!

Don’t miss this gothic re-imagination of a timeless classic.

The 2nd Guernsey Tattoo Expo

The Guernsey Tattoo Expo returns for the second year on 15 & 16 July!

St James welcomes back the island’s best tattoo artists for the 2nd Guernsey Tattoo Expo featuring live tattooing and competitions.

Come and see these amazing artists at work, have some food and drink in the café, and vote for your favourites ahead of the prize giving on Sunday afternoon.

11:00 - 18:00 Saturday and Sunday - Entry is Free!

Castle Nights Opening Nights Line Up

YAS will be bringing the groove to the middle ward at 19:45. Sharing a new blend of Afrobeat, Moroccan, & Gnawa vibes, their modern twist is sure to get the dance floor moving.

Earlier in the evening, the Line Up will feature Guernsey Mind’s Hope Singers Community Choir - a relaxed, all-inclusive group of people who share a love of music - and French visiting musician TANE*
