If you want to make waves in 2025, why not join us in taking part in the Dolphin Discovery Trail, it's guaranteed to be a 'fin'-tastic event.
There are two key ways of joining in at this stage - as a sponsor or as an artist.
As media partner Express will be shining a spotlight on both sponsors and artists over the coming months and we are already looking forward to working with you!
The 2025 Dolphin Discovery Trail is in aid of Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA. It will follow in the wake of previous events such as the 2023 Puffin Parade, and the Golden Guernsey Goat Trail held in 2021.
For members of the public it is easy to get involved, to support these charities.
Next Spring Express will publish a free to download map showing the locations of 62 Dolphins for you to view. We'll also publish the map in our free CONNECT magazine.
The dolphins are due to arrive in Guernsey this month, with some availability left for sponsors to get involved. And, the organisers need some creative support too....
Any business or organisation that has not yet signed up to sponsor a dolphin should consider doing so now, before it is too late.
It costs just £1000 to take part and for that you will have your own dolphin, that will go on display as part of the 2025 Dolphin Discovery Trail helping to raise much needed funds for both Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA.
The 2023 Puffin Parade raised more than £100,000 which was split equally between the two good causes, and it's hoped the 2025 Dolphin Discovery Trail will be as successful.
For sponsors, you can be linked to the event and your role and wider work can be highlighted through the exclusive coverage Express is planning - this will include sponsor and artist profiles as we help raise the excitement levels before the Trail goes live and during it.
Next autumn, the dolphins will be auctioned off, when it is hoped that the amount of money raised will help Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA secure vital funds for their respective services.

The dolphins will each be decorated in an individual and unique style, encouraging those participating in the Dolphin Discovery Trail to find and view each one.
Any artist who would like to be involved in designing and decorating a dolphin should get in touch now!
Your name will be added to the list for sponsors to contact to create an eye-catching dolphin together.
While some sponsors will have design ideas already, others will need some creative expertise to decorate theirs and this is where the art community can show its strength in Guernsey!

Autism Guernsey plans to use the money raised through the 2025 Dolphin Discovery Trail to continue funding its vital services, which support hundreds of young people and adults across the island already.
These services are at risk after a Children in Need grant was not renewed.
Andrew Sparks, Autism Guernsey Director, said the money raised from the Dolphin Discovery Trail will help their staff and volunteers keep these services going.
“The Puffin Parade was an incredible event that raised much needed funds for both the GSPCA and Autism Guernsey last year," he recalled.
“Over the last few months we having been working on the next big event which will be the Dolphin Discovery Trail 2025. Both charities do so much for the community and we are delighted to once again join up for what is going to be another amazing event to bring joy to the island and bring much needed funds for Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA.
“Many will have seen the news recently about funding for Autism Guernsey and we are all doing all we can to raise the much needed funds for our essential work supporting our community.
“If anyone is keen to support Autism Guernsey in any way we would love to hear from you from the Dolphin Discovery trail 2025 to other ways you think you can support.
“We must say a huge thanks to Two Degrees North for kindly making our logo for this event it is hugely appreciated from both the GSPCA and Autism Guernsey.
“We cannot thank everyone enough that helped with the Puffin Parade and we look forward updating everyone on the Dolphin Discovery Trail 2025.”
The GSPCA cares for numerous animals every year, with some of its work hitting the headlines while other cases go unreported due to the vast scale of the services operated by staff and volunteers alike.
After 150 years, the charity is also forging ahead with plans to build a new wildlife hospital at its St Andrew's headquarters so it can continue caring for all animals in need for many more years.
The 2025 Dolphin Discovery Trail will help Steve Byrne and his team achieve this goal.
“We are calling all artists keen to get involved with next years Dolphin Discovery Trail to please get in touch," said the GSPCA's manager.
“We have a number of sponsors looking for budding artists or art groups to help them decorate their sponsored dolphin. There are still the last few dolphins to sponsor so any business, individual or group keen to support this amazing and fun event in aid of GSPCA and Autism Guernsey please do get in touch.
“Last year the Puffin Parade was a massive success thanks to the amazing support by all involved. Like the Puffin Parade, goats, cows and donkeys in previous years we want to know from anyone who can help us with this incredibly exciting event.
“We are looking for sponsors for the giant Dolphin statues and artists to paint them as well as locations to place them, help with the hunt app, website, raffle, auction location and much more.
“We were delighted to announce Bailiwick Express as our official media partners and we really want this to be a community event with as many that would like to get involved.
“We have contacted those amazing supporters who helped with the Puffin Parade and many are supporting this event and we now would love to hear from those keen to help with next year’s BIG event. From DWA Flooring to Craftwise Ltd, Aquitaine Group to Blanchelande Park Nursing Home, Ravenscroft to TISE we are so excited to announce the names of all involved in the coming weeks.
“The Puffin Parade raised an incredible £140,000 between both the GSPCA and Autism Guernsey and was a huge amount of fun and we continue to love seeing the Puffins featured all around Guernsey.
“To help and get involved please email me and Andrew via dolphinparade2025@gmail.com.”
