Someone has tried to set a residential garage on fire in a suspected arson attack.
Guernsey Police said they're wanting to speak with anyone who may have private CCTV installed on their premises in the Rouge Rue area.
The garage at the centre of the investigation is on Rouge Rue itself said a police spokesperson.
"Between 22:00 on the 1st September 2024, and 12:00 on the 2nd September 2024, a private garage along Rouge Rue, St Peter Port was entered in an attempt to set fire to the structure.
"Officers are seeking anyone in the area whom may have private CCTV or had been in the area at the time that may have seen anyone acting suspiciously."
