A vehicle parked in Rue des Grons was broken into and an archery bag stolen from inside.
Someone entered the car and stole a grey bag, which contained a competitive recurve bow, sometime between Saturday 28 November and Thursday 3 December.
Police say the bow was dismantled into several parts before being taken.
Anyone with information about this, or who is aware of bow parts being sold locally, is asked to contact the police station on 725111. Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
