Apply for your school uniform grant now!

Sunday 07 July 2019

Parents and carers can now submit applications for School Uniform Grants to Social Security.

Applications can be made through an online form or by completing an application form, which can be picked up from the Income Support counter at Edward T. Wheadon House or at Sir Charles Frossard House.

For parents and carers who are not in receipt of Income Support, proof of income, rent and interest on loans must be submitted with the application form to Edward T. Wheadon House.

School Uniform Grants are issued annually by Employment & Social Security and aim to provide all children with a basic school uniform. The amount granted is determined by the annual household income and allowed expenses, so not all applications will be eligible for a full uniform grant.

In order to receive the school uniform grant before the start of the Autumn Term, applications must be submitted by Monday 19 August. However, applications can be made up until the Easter holidays. No grants will be issued before Monday 22nd July to allow for applications to be processed.
