Applications for Social Investment Fund support to close on Friday

Monday 28 October 2024

Third sector organisations who need financial backing are being urged to apply for support from the Social Investment Fund as the deadline looms.

The grants of up to £25,000 can be used for one-off projects, capital expenses, running costs or certain salary costs, as long as they are within projects or on an exceptional basis.

Last year over £111,000 was granted to charities, with a grand total of £941,707 being given away since 2021.

Last year's total helped Headway Guernsey pay their rent for the year, while Guernsey Netball Association used their £10,000 to help cover the salary costs of a Development Officer, and Vive La Vallette spent £6,000 on over a years worth of chair yoga sessions.
